  1. Such a tragic awful moment in the comedy and movie world as we have lost yet another star way too soon. Hollywood film icon and legendary comedian Robin Williams took his own life away after a lifelong battle with drug addiction and depression. He was 63 years old. Some of you Robin fans may know him as the famous British nanny from the 1993 smash comedy film, MRS. DOUBTFIRE, the tale of how a not so ordinary divorced father Daniel Hillard disguises himself as a housekeeping woman in order to be with his kids more often, much to his ex-wife Miranda's delight (Academy award winner Sally Field). You just may notice him as the big blue Genie in Walt Disney Pictures' ALADDIN who cast his spell at the rub of a lamp and sprung to life on the big screen in the Thanksgiving season in 1992 on November 25th. As we take time to mourn Robin's untimely death, let's all remember the years he spent making us laugh with his magic talent in comedy. Although he is physically gone, his spirit will never die and will remain in our hearts forever. As John Keating would say...CARPE DIEM!!!!
