Moving On after Sandy

    To my fellow readers, here in New York this past week, we all have suffered a sad and crushing hurricane. One that hits home like Katrina did to New Orleans. Now with this storm put behind us, we must move on. With Halloween and October now past, we are looking forward. Not just to a new month, but to hope and faith.

 My friends, we must reach out to our fellow neighbors in this time of need. If a pal of yours don't have power now, ask him to visit and stay with you until the power comes back or give him food and supplies if he doesn't have enough. Try to donate to the Red Cross and/or the Salvation Army for disaster relief services.

   If you're not afraid of the storm and its aftermath now, why not go to a movie theatre and see a new release tonight. There's now some great films in the theatre {Argo, The Master, Flight, Wreck-It Ralph} and more soon to come in the course of this holiday season {Lincoln, The Hobbit, Skyfall, Les Miserables}

   If you also love New York Theatre as much as I do, you can go to ticketmaster.com or telecharge.com or call or even go to the box office to grab a ticket for shows currently in previews {Annie, Scandalous, A Christmas Story:The Musical, The Performers} or is playing now {The Lion King, Peter and the Starcatcher, Bad Jews, Wild with Happy, Newsies:The Musical, Falling}.

    If you missed a new episode of your favorite TV show while your power went out, see it on hulu.com, the network's website or free Cable on Demand.

   Plus, there's three more days left until Election Day. You still have time to make a choice to pick who really deserves to be in the White House. I, myself will be voting for Obama. This coming Tuesday, you make the call. Obama or Romney. Who's it gonna be.

   With the holidays coming upon us, we must keep calm, stay focus to the present and carry on. No matter what happens, we must always move on. Thanks.
